Detox Water – Water is the Best Beauty Tip
It might sound too simple to be true, but still: water is the best beauty tip. Most people, however, find it difficult to drink the recommended amount of two liters a day… If you are one of those people, don’t worry, cause there is a simple and delicious way to trick your body to drink more water.
Simply upgrade your water. The solution is detox water – it seems like everyone is talking about it these days. Detox water helps increasing your metabolism and detoxes your body. But what’s the secret?
Actually there is none, and once more it sounds way more complicated than it actually is. You could technically also call it vitamin water. Because basically detox water is simple table water enriched with vitamins and minerals.
Depending on your personal taste, you can use either still or mineral water and add 2-3 different fruits. Herbals or spices, such as ginger or cayenne pepper,can also be added as a booster for your metabolism. When adding herbals such as mint or basil, make sure to chop them. Otherwise, the water won’t be able to absorb the herb’s essential oils.
Back when I had created my first detox water, I remember being surprised and super happy at the same time. The water had turned pink due to the strawberries and blueberries I had added the day before and more importantly: it was super delicious.

For today’s photo I’ve used cherries, blackberries and mint. Thanks to detox water I could even make my son stop drinking unhealthy sodas at school, and trust me: this was everything, but easy. Now he drinks one liter a day, just at school, with ease.
